Our 2023 Summer League campaign commenced last Saturday, with our Mens and Ladies Spring Singles teams both on court at Giffnock.  “Competition Leads to Coaching” extends to our coaching team playing competitively, with Smithy, Zoe and Dan all recording good wins for the club.

With membership and participation numbers at record highs, demand to play for the club in teams is likewise at an all-time high.  To enable as many members as possible to compete for the club we’ve entered additional teams in leagues for this season, where we can and where Tennis West of Scotland has been able to accommodate our requests.

While we will continue to try and avoid two matches being on court at the same time, (this leading to no courts being available to book by members), that may not be possible later in the season, particularly in June when any matches postponed due to weather in the early part of the season need to be rescheduled.  There may also be short periods on Wednesday and Friday afternoons when no courts are available to be booked and some Sundays where team matches reduce courts available to be booked.  Please refer to the court booking system.
