We are excited to announce the rollout of a brand-new club management system – Clubspark
The new system will provide all members with a more modern, secure and user-friendly experience. It will integrate standalone systems like membership subscriptions, court bookings, training and coaching squads, safeguarding and events into one system, where members will be able to see and maintain their own records and payments.
Some things to keep in mind:
Membership Migration
• We’ll migrate membership records from the current system to Clubspark, and members will start receiving invites to register for a Clubspark account from 12th March. Please sign up when it arrives and by the end of March at the latest.
• You can only create one Clubspark account per email address.
• Junior members under 18 will not be able to create their own Clubspark account. Instead their parent/guardian would need to register with Clubspark and be their main contact for all communication, payments, court bookings etc.
Separate from LTA Clubspark — If you already use the LTA’s Clubspark, you’ll still need to register for Giffnock Clubspark account which is entirely independent.
Payments In Transition
• For those paying monthly, your April payment will be processed using the current system. After 1st April, subscriptions will be taken via Clubspark.
• Members who pay fees annually will pay via Clubspark before the 1st of April. You will find a payment request in your account when you first join our Clubspark system.
Group Coaching Sessions – all coaching sessions will transfer to Clubspark from April when the new coaching block starts.
Court Booking for Tennis and Squash will initially stay on the current system MyCourts. We expect to be able to switch to Clubspark for court bookings in June. Timescale for this is outwith our control as we are relying on the developer to make a crucial update to the system before we are able to use it at Giffnock. We will keep our members posted.
